Can a special cuff make heart rehab exercises more effective?
NCT ID NCT07361393
Summary
This study aims to find out if adding blood flow restriction cuffs to standard strength exercises helps heart patients recover better. Twenty adults in a stable phase of cardiac rehab will do two 10-week exercise programs: one with the cuffs and one without. Researchers will measure changes in strength, heart health, fitness, and quality of life to see which approach works best.
