Scientists probe if tightening leg bands during workouts releases Body's repair cells
NCT ID NCT07213726
Summary
This study aims to understand if temporarily slowing blood flow to the legs during light exercise causes the body to release more stem cells into the bloodstream. Researchers will measure stem cell and lactate levels in the blood of 15 healthy volunteers before and after they complete specific leg exercises while wearing special compression bands. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how this type of training affects the body's cells, not to treat any condition.
