Could a cuff on your legs help you breathe easier?

NCT ID NCT07315425

Summary

This study is testing a special type of light exercise to see if it can help people with interstitial lung disease (ILD) feel less short of breath and improve how their muscles use oxygen. Researchers will have 30 participants with ILD try two types of light exercise: one with special cuffs on the legs that mildly restrict blood flow, and one without. The goal is to see if the cuffed exercise is safe and leads to better results like easier breathing and better muscle oxygen levels during activity.
