New exercise technique aims to help spinal cord injury patients regain arm function

NCT ID NCT06907381

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of exercise can help adults with incomplete spinal cord injuries regain arm and hand strength. Participants will perform resistance exercises with restricted blood flow, combined with electrical muscle stimulation, to see if it improves their ability to use their arms for daily tasks. The goal is to see if this approach helps people become more independent in their activities.
