Could a gentle workout with a special cuff help people with COPD breathe easier?
NCT ID NCT07261293
Summary
This study is testing if a gentler form of exercise can help people with COPD. Researchers will compare standard pulmonary rehab exercises to the same program where cycling is done at a lower intensity while wearing a cuff that mildly restricts blood flow in the legs. The goal is to see if this easier method can still improve walking distance, breathing, and reduce body-wide inflammation for those who struggle with standard workouts.
