New clotting drug may reduce bleeding in High-Risk heart surgeries

Summary
This study tests a new medicine (BE1116) to control bleeding in 200 adults undergoing complex heart surgery with a heart-lung machine. The medicine is compared to standard fresh frozen plasma. The goal is to see if BE1116 corrects clotting problems faster and reduces the need for additional blood products.
