New combo attack on stubborn blood cancers

Summary

This study is testing a new combination of two drugs, guadecitabine and atezolizumab, for adults with advanced myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML). It is for patients whose cancer has returned or stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal is to see if the two drugs work better together to control the disease and to find the safest dose.
