Summary
This early-phase study tested whether a special ultrasound device can safely open the blood-brain barrier in people with recurrent glioblastoma, a serious brain cancer. The goal was to let the chemotherapy drug carboplatin reach the tumor more effectively. Twenty-eight participants were enrolled to check safety and see if the barrier opening worked on MRI scans.
