Letting babies feed themselves works better than Spoon-Feeding, study finds
NCT ID NCT07467876
Summary
This study compared how well parents followed two different methods for introducing solid foods to babies aged 6-12 months. One method (BLISS) lets babies feed themselves finger foods, while the other (PLW) involves parents spoon-feeding purees. Researchers found parents were significantly more likely to stick to the baby-led self-feeding method over the 6-month study period.
