First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study was designed to see if stimulating both sides of a key tongue muscle could help keep the airway open during sleep in people already using an Inspire device for obstructive sleep apnea. It was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available. The goal was to measure how much air pressure is needed to keep the airway open.
