New combo aims to cut infections in blood cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a new oral liquid drug, BLEX 404, combined with a standard chemotherapy (azacitidine) in adults with certain types of blood cancers (MDS and CMML). The goal is to find a safe dose and see if it can reduce serious infections. About 52 people will take part in this early-stage trial.
