New gauze aims to soothe inflamed, crusty eyelids
NCT ID NCT07431385
Summary
This study is testing a sterile gauze pad, called IRIDIUM GARZE, to see if it helps reduce eye discomfort and symptoms when used alongside standard treatment for blepharitis (eyelid inflammation). About 80 adults in Italy with this condition will use the gauze four times a day for 28 days. Researchers will check if it improves symptoms like itching, burning, and crustiness, and is safe to use.
