First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 40 times
Summary
This study aims to find out if some women who had severe bleeding after a vaginal delivery have an undiagnosed bleeding disorder. Researchers will test blood samples from 150 women who lost at least 1000 mL of blood during or after birth in the past year. The goal is to better understand why some women bleed heavily and to improve future care.
