First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a simpler, one-step thawing method for frozen embryos works as well or better than the standard multi-step method. About 816 women undergoing IVF will have their embryos thawed using either method, and researchers will compare live birth rates. The goal is to see if the simpler approach can improve pregnancy outcomes while reducing lab work and waiting time.
