First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether measuring specific brain waves (gamma oscillations) can help detect and treat brain injury caused by blast exposure in combat veterans. Researchers planned to enroll 50 veterans but only 5 took part. The goal was to understand how close blast distance affects the brain and find new ways to help recovery.
