One-Piece tumor removal may cut bladder cancer return
NCT ID NCT07347132
First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study compared two ways to remove early-stage bladder tumors: the standard method that takes the tumor out in pieces, and a newer method that removes it in one piece. 116 adults with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer took part. The goal was to see if the one-piece method gives better tissue samples for diagnosis and lowers the chance of the cancer coming back within 15 months.
