NCT ID NCT07505615
First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a modified virus called VG161 as a new treatment for recurrent bladder cancer that no longer responds to standard BCG therapy. The virus was delivered directly into the bladder of 20 patients to see if it was safe and could help control the cancer. Researchers also looked at how the virus worked in the body and whether it triggered an immune response against the cancer.
