New hope to save bladders from cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT07475806

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, enfortumab vedotin and pembrolizumab, can effectively treat muscle-invasive bladder cancer so patients can keep their bladder. The goal is to see how many people have their cancer disappear and how many still have their bladder intact two years later, avoiding the standard surgery to remove it. It is for adults who are eligible for bladder removal surgery but want to explore an alternative.
