New drug combo aims to save bladders from cancer surgery

Summary
This study is testing a combination of two immunotherapy drugs, durvalumab and monalizumab, for people with early-stage bladder cancer that has not responded well to the standard BCG treatment. The goal is to see if this drug combination can eliminate the cancer and help patients avoid having their bladder surgically removed. About 60 participants will receive monthly infusions of both drugs for up to 13 cycles.
