New bladder cancer injection enters first human safety tests

Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new drug called belzupacap sarotalocan (AU-011) for bladder cancer that hasn't spread into the muscle wall. Researchers will inject the drug directly into tumors during a standard bladder procedure to see if it's safe and practical to use. The study will enroll 55 patients to monitor side effects and gather initial information about how well the treatment might work.
