Better bladder cancer surgery? study tests new removal technique
NCT ID NCT07259798
Summary
This study compared two surgical methods for removing medium-sized bladder tumors (2-6 cm) to see which provides better tissue samples for diagnosis. Researchers tested whether removing the tumor in one piece (en-bloc) gives clearer information about cancer depth compared to the traditional piece-by-piece method. The goal was to help doctors more accurately determine how far the cancer has spread and improve treatment planning.
