First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a urine test called Xpert Bladder Cancer Detect to see if it can accurately identify people with hidden blood in their urine who are at higher risk for bladder cancer. About 1,475 adults over 40 with non-visible blood in urine will provide a urine sample and answer symptom questionnaires, then undergo standard cystoscopy and follow-up. The goal is to improve risk assessment and reduce unnecessary invasive procedures.
