Bladder cancer surgery: new model aims to predict recurrence risk

NCT ID NCT07589413

First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026

Summary

This study looks at 150 people having bladder tumor surgery to see if the amount of fluid absorbed during the procedure and changes in DNA fragments in the blood can help predict if the cancer will come back or spread. Researchers will collect blood samples before and after surgery and track patients over time. The goal is to improve how doctors assess risk and plan follow-up care after surgery.
