New combo therapy aims to keep advanced bladder cancer at bay after chemo

Summary
This trial is testing whether a two-drug combination (talazoparib and avelumab) can help keep advanced bladder cancer from getting worse after initial chemotherapy. It will involve 50 patients whose cancer responded to or was stable after platinum-based chemo. The goal is to see if this 'maintenance' approach can extend the time patients live without their cancer progressing.
