New test could spare patients unnecessary surgery for bladder and bowel problems
NCT ID NCT07335484
Summary
This study is testing a new external device that helps doctors figure out if a patient is likely to benefit from a permanent implant for bladder or bowel control problems before they get the surgery. About 75 adults with overactive bladder or fecal incontinence will wear the temporary external device for a trial period. The main goals are to see if the device works reliably and is safe to use.
