New bladder treatment could replace daily antibiotic pills

NCT ID NCT06332781

Summary

This study is testing if putting a liquid antibiotic directly into the bladder is a practical alternative to taking daily antibiotic pills to prevent repeat urinary tract infections (UTIs). It will involve 30 postmenopausal women who get frequent UTIs. The main goal is to see if this new approach is feasible for a larger future trial and to understand patient preferences.
