New drug trial targets aggressive lung cancer transformation

Summary
This study is testing an experimental drug called BL0020 for patients whose non-small cell lung cancer has transformed into a more aggressive small cell type after previous treatment. The trial will enroll 48 adults to see if BL0020 can shrink tumors and control the cancer. Researchers want to determine if this new treatment is safe and effective for this specific cancer transformation that currently has no standard treatment.
