First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether specially grown immune cells from a donor can safely lower BK virus levels in children, adolescents, and young adults who have not responded to standard treatment. Participants have either had a stem cell or organ transplant, or have a weak immune system. The cells are given by infusion, and the study will monitor for side effects and virus reduction.
