Experimental Dual-Targeting T-Cell therapy takes on tough lymphomas

NCT ID NCT07168291

First seen Jun 26, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This early-phase trial will test a new type of immune cell therapy called bispecific AbTCR T-cells in 3 adults with relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphoma (including diffuse large B-cell, follicular, and Burkitt lymphoma). The cells are designed to target two proteins (CD19 and CD22) on cancer cells. The main goal is to check safety and side effects, with a secondary look at how well the tumors respond. Participants will receive chemotherapy before the cell infusion.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only โ€” not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
Bispecific AbTCR (anti-CD19/CD22)-T cells
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a new treatment option for patients with hard-to-treat B-cell lymphomas that have not responded to standard therapies.
What could go wrong
This is a very early, tiny trial (only 3 participants) focused on safety. The treatment may cause serious side effects, and it is too soon to know if it will be effective or widely available.
