Summary

This study aimed to understand how different sugar and fat substitute ingredients affect stomach comfort and bowel habits when eaten in biscuits. Healthy adult volunteers tried biscuits containing various ingredient blends and tracked their gastrointestinal symptoms and stool details for 24 hours after eating. The goal was to gather data on how well people tolerate these common food additives.
