Summary
This study tested whether using a brain monitor to guide anesthesia depth could reduce nausea and vomiting in children after surgery. It involved 58 children, aged 3 to 8, who were having their adenoids removed. Kids were randomly assigned to have their anesthesia guided by the brain monitor or by standard methods to see which group felt less sick afterward.
