Can writing your birth story make labor less scary?
NCT ID NCT07382609
Summary
This study tested if writing a personal birth story on a board in the labor room could help first-time mothers feel less fear and more comfort during childbirth. Researchers worked with 58 women in early labor, asking half to write their feelings and thoughts. They measured fear and comfort levels before and after the activity to see if it made a difference.
