Could a simple change in birth position ease new Mothers' pain?
NCT ID NCT07243522
Summary
This study is testing if giving birth in a semi-sitting position leads to less pain and stronger pelvic muscles after delivery compared to the standard lying-down position. It involves 70 first-time mothers who will be randomly assigned to one of the two birthing positions. Researchers will measure pain levels and muscle strength during labor and for six months after birth to see which position is better for recovery.
