Summary
This study aimed to understand if taking combined oral contraceptive pills (birth control) influences the development or worsening of chronic vein problems in the legs. It observed 116 women who were already prescribed these pills and had very early signs of vein issues or none at all. Researchers checked in with participants every three months to track any changes in their vein health.
