Can a pill help the pill? study tests supplement for birth control side effects
NCT ID NCT07271316
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily dietary supplement can help reduce common side effects reported by women taking hormonal birth control pills. Researchers will compare the supplement to a placebo (a dummy pill) in 68 female university students over 28 days. The goal is to see if the supplement improves happiness, energy, digestive health, and mood stability while reducing feelings of vulnerability to illness.
