Birth control patch put to the test: what happens when you miss a dose?
NCT ID NCT07365904
Summary
This study aims to see how well a birth control patch prevents ovulation when women intentionally make mistakes in applying it, like leaving it on too long. Researchers will recruit 60 healthy women aged 18-35 to wear the patch for 84 days while following specific, incorrect application schedules. The goal is to understand the patch's real-world effectiveness and safety when used imperfectly.
