Summary

This study tested whether a daily liquid treatment taken under the tongue could help control seasonal allergy symptoms in children and teens allergic to birch pollen. About 553 participants, aged 5 to 17, received either the active treatment or a placebo daily for several months before and during two consecutive birch pollen seasons. The main goal was to see if the treatment safely reduced the combined score of allergy symptoms and the need for rescue medication.
