Summary

This study compares a new biplanar handheld ultrasound system, which shows both a long-axis and short-axis view of the artery at the same time, with a standard ultrasound that shows only one view at a time. The goal is to see if the new device helps doctors successfully insert a catheter into the radial artery on the first try more often. About 152 adults scheduled for cerebral angiography or neurointerventional procedures through the wrist will take part.
