First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study is testing a new device called a vestibular implant that is placed behind the ear to help improve balance in adults with long-term dizziness and unsteadiness. The implant sends small electrical signals to the balance nerve, and participants will have their balance and hearing tested over six months. The goal is to see if the device is safe and can help people walk more steadily.
