Mind-Controlled bionic arms get first human trial
NCT ID NCT07325708
Summary
This study is testing a new implantable sensor system designed to give people with below-elbow amputations more intuitive and precise control over their prosthetic arms. Ten participants will have small sensors surgically implanted in their residual limb muscles to pick up electrical signals. Researchers will check if the system is safe and helps users perform daily tasks more easily with their prosthetic hand.
