Summary
This study aims to find early markers—like changes in speech and certain blood proteins—that can predict whether a first psychotic episode will lead to bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. Researchers will record interviews and take blood samples from 217 people aged 15-30 experiencing their first psychosis. The goal is to help doctors choose the right treatment sooner and prevent relapse.
