First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study is looking at whether certain substances in the fluid around your teeth can help predict if a root canal treatment is healing properly. Researchers will treat 60 adults with infected teeth and follow them for a year, taking fluid samples and X-rays to see if the markers match the healing process. The goal is to find a simple way to check healing without relying only on X-rays.
