Summary

This study aims to find early signs that can tell if a first psychotic episode will develop into a mood disorder (like bipolar) or schizophrenia. Researchers will record speech during interviews and take blood samples from 217 people aged 15-30 who have had a first episode. They will follow participants for 2 years to see if language patterns or inflammation markers can predict the outcome, which could lead to faster, more accurate treatment.
