Can a simple bone marrow test predict who will beat High-Risk leukemia?
NCT ID NCT02583893
First seen May 29, 2026 ยท Last updated May 29, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 39 adults with high-risk acute myeloid leukemia (AML) to see if certain markers in their bone marrow could predict how well they would respond to a combination of the drug sirolimus and standard chemotherapy. The goal was to find out if changes in these markers early in treatment could tell doctors which patients are likely to go into remission. The study did not test a new treatment but aimed to improve how we predict treatment success.
