NCT ID NCT07289074
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at two substances in gum fluid (Neurokinin A and MMP-9) to see if they can help diagnose a painful tooth condition called irreversible pulpitis with apical periodontitis. Researchers will compare levels in 23 adults' painful teeth versus their healthy teeth. The goal is to find a better way to diagnose this condition using a simple gum fluid sample.
