First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether certain substances in the blood (sST2 and miR-223) can help doctors know how well a treatment for dust mite allergies will work. 54 people with moderate-to-severe dust mite allergies received a 6-month treatment under the tongue. The goal was to see if these blood markers could predict who would get better.
