Hormone therapy study reveals effects on bone health and cholesterol in menopausal women

NCT ID NCT07163442

Summary

This study looked at whether bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (HRT) helps reduce negative effects of menopause over one year. Researchers compared 107 postmenopausal women who were already using skin-applied estrogen and progesterone therapy to women not using HRT. They measured bone density, cholesterol levels, and menopausal symptoms to see if the therapy made a difference.
