Summary
This study tests whether combining an antibiotic (linezolid) with a mucus-dissolving agent can reduce the sticky bacterial film (biofilm) that forms on ureteral stents placed after kidney stone surgery. About 100 adults who are stone-free after surgery and have a stent for one month will be randomly assigned to receive the combination, one drug alone, or no treatment. The goal is to lower infection and stent-related symptoms.
