Summary
This study will check how often biofilm (a sticky layer of bacteria) forms on chest drains after lung surgery. Researchers will collect drain tips from 180 adults and test them for bacteria and antibiotic resistance. The goal is to learn how drain time affects biofilm and infection risk, helping improve care.
