Summary
This study tested if a new version of the cholesterol drug bempedoic acid is absorbed by the body the same way as an existing version. It involved 32 healthy adults who took a single dose of each drug on an empty stomach. The goal was to see if the two versions produce similar levels of the drug in the blood, which is a key step before a new generic version can be approved.
